Spicy Bulgogi

Time for some tasty Korean food!

Main Ingredients

  • 1kg Pork – Thinly sliced, if you can get it, there is a specific bulgogi cut
  • 1 Large Brown Onion
  • 5 Schallots

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 Large Carrots
  • 2 tbsp pepper paste (Ideally Korean Gochujang – Korean Fermented Chili Paste)
  • 2 tbsp pepper flakes
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp sweetener (optional)
  • Black Pepper
  • Sesame oil

Take the pork and mix it with the sauce ingredients. Leave it in the fridge for a few hours or better yet overnight.

When ready to cook it, fire up a large frypan and start cooking the meat mixture; After a few minutes throw in the vegetables cut into strips. Let it all cook down and enjoy!

Great spooned into lettuce leaves or eaten however you like!
