A low carb version of chow mein for us gluten free carb haters. 🙂
- 2 tablespoon coconut oil
- 2 medium brown onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 600g beef mince
- 1 carrot, peeled, halved, thinly sliced
- Half a wombok chopped up
- 100g Bean Sprouts
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of home made vegetable stock
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
Heat the oil in a wok or pan, and fry the onions until they soften. Add the beef mince and brown it off.
Stir through the oyster sauce, stock and water and garlic.
Add the carrot and bean sprouts, and keep cooking until the carrot softens a little.
Add the wombok, mix through and let cook slowly for 10 minutes.
