These tasty burgers were a hit when we made them today for lunch. The whole family should enjoy them. We used Masterfoods Basil Pesto because it had the lowest carbohydrate level of any of the store bought pesto’s we found.
- 1kg Beef Mince
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Tbsp chopped oregano
- Pepper to taste
- 1/2 Cup Whole Egg Mayonaise
- 1 Tbsp Basil Pesto
Start by making the dressing, just combine the mayo and pesto in a small bowl. You’re done.
Next, mix the burger ingredients until they are well and evenly combined.
Divvy up the burger mix into good size patties and gently fry. I prefer to fry in coconut oil, it’s better for you and doesn’t wreck your non stick frypan like olive oil does.
Serve patties fresh from the pan, drizzled with the mayo and with a leafy green selection on the side.
