Not Sausauge Rolls

These tasted great, although when I first made them I did stick a tiny bit of mince in there as I had some left over from another recipe.

  • Puff Pastry
  • 250g Grated Cheese
  • 100g Breadcrumbs
  • Bunch of Spring Onions, chopped finely
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • Pinch of Mustard Powder
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Mix it all up and make sausage rolls with the puff pastry. Done. Remember to baste with a little egg to get the pastry golden brown.

While these taste great, they defeat the purpose a little; Having them full of cheese is not far enough removed from full of meat to reduce the fat content; So I will keep looking for a better low fat sausage roll recipe.
